Product Description
The Ankita jacket is made of organic cotton traditionally handwoven and hand-loomed in one of the last remaining mills in Tamil Nadu, South India. The intricate hand-embroidery on the jacket is done by talented women embroiderers in Jaipur, India. Muzungu Sisters continues to value and champion hand-embroidery, which is sadly a dying art due to the increase in popularity of machine-embroidery.
Muzungu Sisters only uses natural sustainable and biodegradable materials that leave a minimal trace on our environment. Just as their pieces are designed to be kept for years to come, they also believe in a conscious, and conservative approach to consumption.
