The Brand Bio
Pama London was founded by Pauline Hansen who recognised the need for an ethically-produced, eco-conscious activewear collection. Pauline's practice and dedication to the teachings of yoga are directly translated to the designs in the collection, which include the healing colours of the seven chakras - spirituality, awareness, communication, love, power, creativity and trust - and serve as a reminder of the brand's aspirations. While each chakra holds an important meaning in its own right, together they are even more powerful; when we embrace life with the same multicoloured approach, we find balance.
At Pama London, their main goal is to aspire and inspire a sustainable "Earth-friendly" lifestyle. For the brand, it is very important to promote sustainable activewear in a fashionable way. All Pama London collections are designed in the heart of London and manufactured in an eco-friendly way in Portugal and Los Angeles.
Pama London takes inspiration from the yoga lifestyle, which includes being mindful of the earth and its living beings, and believes that the materials and garments we put on our skin should include the same "mindful" process. The fabric the brand uses is custom made in one of the most sustainable factories in the world, specialising in activewear. It consists of 84% recycled charcoal bamboo and 16% elastane. This ensures that the fabric is breathable, anti-odour, water-repellent, light weight and quick dry.
