What's your personal advocacy?
I'm committed to leaving the planet in the same or a better condition than it was when I was born.
What was the turning point that first got you interested in it?
About ten years ago, I saw a photo essay that had these horrific views of our scarred planet, from decimated forests, to islands of plastic in the oceans, to the smog hanging over our cities - it literally opened my eyes.
How do you live it out daily?
I helped start an environmental charity seven years ago, Goods for Good, that takes overstock essential goods from UK businesses and distributes them to people who need them. We've served over a million people, and saved £22m worth of goods from going to landfill or being incinerated.
Words to live by
"We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we only have one." -Confucius
Personal definition of sustainability
Treating the planet in a way that its resources can be enjoyed by future generations as much as previous generations.
Tips for individuals who want to start adopting a more sustainable lifestyle
Just do at least one thing every day, and encourage at least one other person to do one thing every day, and make sure they do the same thing with one other person.
