- Where are you quarantined and with who?
I'm just outside London with my family of 4 kids (17 down to 2 years old, so dealing with exams and tantrums!), my husband and my live-in nanny (I am blessed!)
- What has been your best quarantine activity?
My discovery is that I have the power to influence myself. Over the last 3 months, my mood has swung, most of which is work related with crisis-management and with this stress. Managing this, and also fears about the outside world, has taught me that only I have the power to change myself and to dictate how I will react to the world. Positively influencing yourself is not always easy.
- What fun things are you doing online to stay connected to your family, friends and team?
I've learned to cook! I've always shied away from cooking - thinking it was boring drudgery associated with 'housework' - but we've changed cooking to be a social activity, meaning that everyone has to chip in and in doing so, I've learned new dishes. Getting to know Thyme will be a flavour of my covid!
