The Brand Bio
Isabella Broden started Oramai London as a personal voyage against the misuse of resources in the fashion industry. After a decade working for L'Officiel, Vogue, and Harper's Bazaar, just to name a few, Isabella discovered that the fashion industry is one of the largest polluters in the world.
Looking for sustainable materials, Isabella discovered that linen requires very little water, almost no pesticides and is completely free of allergens. She had the fortune of meeting organic farmers in Belgium, the heritage of linen, who changed the way they were harvesting flax. This gave Isabella the ultimate inspiration to create her first collection.
Oramai, which is the Italian word for "by now", defines Isabella's belief that she fashion industry should by now employ the highest quality and craftsmanship to produce in the most environmentally conscious and sustainable way.
Isabella's commitment is to make elegant and relaxed collections without compromising her ethics and values, taking into consideration where materials come from and who is making them. It's luxury with a conscience or in other words, sustainable luxury.
