The Brand Bio
Little Things Studio is an Indian designer label founded by Ankita Srivastava. She believes that making your own rules in a world which dictates rules to you is an act of courage and she lives to be courageous every day of her life.
Ankita was brought up in Lucknow, India, in a city and house simmering with culture that instilled a deep admiration for Indian crafts, music, literature, and painting within her. Ankita graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi with a degree in Textile Design and was an exchange student at the University of Leeds, UK.After acquiring knowledge about textiles and fabrics, as well as a flavour of the world audience, she came up with the idea for Little Things Studio, to further her love of Indian fabrics, crafts and the planet, and to take it to the world.
Little Things Studio makes bespoke, ethereal, and unique garments, where western aesthetics meet Indian crafts. The pieces are made in silhouettes meant to fit and suit women of all body types and sizes. To ensure minimum impact on the planet, the brand uses sustainable fabrics through ethical sourcing policies and fair trade practices.
In naming her brand, Ankita considered what gives her true bliss. Her answer was in the little things. Hence, Little Things Studio was born with the aim of delivering little packets of joy to people. It also reflects her belief that little changes can make a big difference.
