Muzungu Sisters' Sustainable and Ethical Commitments:
Multicoloured cotton jacket handwoven by the Hmong tribe in Laos. The jacket features accordion pleating, embroidery, and appliqué, and also has small silver toggle fastenings.
The jacket’s vintage fabric is lovingly handwoven and delicately embroidered by women weavers of the indigenous Hmong tribe in Laos who produce some of the world’s most exquisite needlework. Traditionally, Hmong women use their intricate needlework to adorn all of their family members clothes with rich embroideries. Each jacket is totally one-of-a-kind and should be handled delicately.
A striking alternative to your everyday leather jacket, wear your Laos jacket like a cardigan during cooler months or as a jacket over denim shorts when the sun is out.
